I will sure miss Jack's big smile and contagious laugh. The "Shields smile" has always shown through Bobbie, Susan, Brett, Jack, and the kids. I've always loved that about your family. I will be praying for healing for your broken hearts.
Beautifully said & PURE TRUTH to your words!! 💜
Uncle Jack was one of the most decent men I have ever known. If you got to meet him, he was your friend and he had a lot of friends. His sister, Josie as he called my mother, sorely miss him and look forward to seeing him in heaven. All our love to his wife, Bobbie and all the ones that called him Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa
As an adult you don't get to have many if any true true friends. it's more like a childhood thing. I am so honored to say that Jack was truly a best friend in my life that far surpassed any other even as a child. I celebrate his life and our friendship. If i can be half the man he was I would be proud and know my Lord would too.
Words cannot express how much this family means to me. I share in your grief during this difficult time. It is through Jack that I received the blessing and gift of this extended family and life long friends. I know that you all have a strong faith in our Lord above and His will be done. Big Jack was one of the best men I have ever known and his legacy will live on in his children and family. You will carry his goodness with you forever. Be strong, hold each other up and cherish the memories that others will share with you of their good times with your Dad. A day will not go by that you won't think of him. He loved you all with his entire being. He is gone but never ever forgotten! I Love you always! Peg
