Jim Gallaher was my friend… I enjoyed our shared times, especially when I could get him to share about the stories of his past: life in Ohio, his testimonies, and his family (I probably know more stories than you want me to know, Mark & Christine). Last June we spent some vacation time together, and Jim became my "photography friend". The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful, and Jim enjoyed just watching the beauty as it slowly appeared, then left. We traveled early one morning to Ft Gibson National Cemetery… Jim was truly thankful for the opportunity to stand in honor of those who served and sacrificed. We stood together for quite a long time before the graves of 5 soldiers who died together in Europe during World War II. Then Jim walked the rows for over 2 hours stopping often to read the markers and honor the lives of these valiant men and women. He was truly grateful that he had that opportunity. Jim was the kind of student every teacher likes… he was attentive, engaged, and appreciative of what he learned. He "fed me" as I taught…Jim will be missed… but NOT lost. I know where he is, and where I will meet him again. I wonder how the Sunrises and Sunsets will appear in Heaven? Jim will have to teach me a few things, then.Geof W. Jackson
