Oh no!!! I had no idea. I have been Jerry's hairstylist 32 years. Every 4 weeks he had a standing appointment. Im so saddened to hear this. Jerry was an awesome person and spoke highly of his kids and grands in Dallas area. I think Adam was coming to visit the last time he was in for a haircut. Jerry will be missed so much by me. ?? Prayers to the Family. I am so sorry for your loss.
I am one of Jerry's neighbors and countless times Jerry and I, generally as we were coming home from work, would visit at his mail box. We discussed many subjects; particularly politics and since we saw things in a similar light the conversations were truly enjoyable to each of us.I considered Jerry to be a true friend although we never did any activities together; it was our solving the world problems chats that we both totally enjoyed that cemented our friendship.I will deeply miss Jerry and our great discussions. I worked with Jerry for 16 years. Though we never met in person, we would often have long phone conversations ( don't tell Mickey). It was through those conversations that I got to know what a great guy he was. His COLORFUL language always put a smile on my face. He was a no nonsense guy with a great sense of humor. He told you how it was. I will surely miss his professionalism, our conversations and his stories. (Did you know he caught malaria in Viet Nam). Thank you for being yourself Gus Cotayo ITP NY
Gonna miss you! Thank you for your service, thank you for your friendship.John J. Reyes
