To meet Anthony and watch him play soccer was infectious. He was the great big smile, the quick-twitch lightning fast star who we called "Ant-Man". He was a favorite of mine because my late twin was named Anthony and we bonded for that reason.
May his family and friends be met with fond memories of him, that smile, and that style!
Shane Carew, current assistant coach of the Charlotte 49ers soccer program noted that "When Anthony returned for the 50th anniversary celebration of the program this Spring the loudest cheer in the room was when Anthony walked in."

Dear family and friends of Anthony.
I just read this morning here in Asia the tragic loss of Anthony.
I have nothing but smiles when I think of Ant from when we played / coached with and against each other and truly just always had fun on or around a soccer pitch in Tulsa.
From my time in Tulsa and from a soccer point of view in our Tulsa soccer community nobody had a left foot like Ant and from a personal point of view he was a cheeky bugger and always had that brilliant smile to make us laugh.
The soccer players, coaches and families from my time in Tulsa bring me nothing but wonderful memories and Anthony was a big part of those memories.
Again my deepest condolences and I will light a candle today at my local church in Malaysia, South east Asia.
