Praying for comfort to his family. As I remembered James, he was 1 of the nicest guy in high school. Everytime I seen him he had a smile. If there was ever problems it was hard to tell from him. He would make u laugh, smileand funny, he was very outgoing. He did love his animals. He will be missed by many people and especially his family. Remember this was his temporary home and was preparing for his real home. Now looking down on us all, and just waiting for the rest. Praying for his family.

He was so sweet to my daughter, Kristen, when she would help with JC's Traveling Barnyard! James, you're out of our arms & in our Father's now, but forever in our hearts! James and I grew up together out on oak grove. We rode the school bus together for years and he was ALWAYS so sweet. I remember when he would get on the bus ,, he would sit down and pretend to be wiping the window clean. We all knew he was waving goodbye to his mom. No ONE ever teased him.. I think deep down everyone respected a guy that loved his mama that much .. We all wished that we had that kind of relationship with out mom .. I appreciate knowing such a great guy .. RIP James .. James was a great man. Larry and I have known him since the day he was born. He and his family were our across the road neighbors. He was such a big tease and so much fun to talk and be with and we got to work with him when he was employed at Industrial Splicing Company. We sure will miss him! He was a gentleman, full of fun and respect, just like his dad taught him. The funniest trick he ever played on me was on one Halloween when I heard a knock at the door and I opened it and there stood a figure with a sheet covering him and he hollered "boo" and I started screaming and he jerked the sheet off his head and said "Oh, Donna, it's me, I didn't mean to scare you that much." We both laughed and laughed and I finally got over it. He was so much fun! We sure did love him. Larry and Donna Burgess

I will never forget the little 5 year old James who walked across the road and knocked on my door one day. My Daddy answered the door. James had come to ask for my hand in marriage. I was 11. Daddy said James would have to come back in a few years because I was too young to get married. Beautiful memory I will always cherish!! My heart is with the whole family! I love you all!!
