James W. Robison's Obituary
James W. Robison was born on March 3 1965, to his proud parents Donald and Louise Robison. James grew up in Broken Arrow where he has lived his entire life. In the early years James enjoyed most of the same things he enjoyed as he became a man. Hard work. Honesty. Kindness. And a big smile are hallmarks of James. James attended BA High School and attended Tulsa Vo Tech and graduated in the class of 1984 He was employed for over 25 years as a Building Engineer for Our Ladies of Sorrow Convent/St. Johns Healthcare Systems_BA and then went on to work for Braden Winch in Broken Arrow where he had many friends, some of whom are here today.James met the Lord when he was a young man, and followed the Lord in baptism in 1992. Sadly for all of us,he entered his reward this past Monday, April 11th. James met and married the love of his life, Carman, on August 10, 2000. When they joined their hearts, they also joined their families. Carman’s two daughters and James’ two sons became a family. True to form, James loved them all sacrificially. He was so proud of all of the children and the adults they have grown to be. He especially adored his three grandson’s Hunter, Ian and Kash, and pouring love into their lives with just his simple kind ways. He always sat a loving example of what a man should be to them. James enjoyed working outside, livestock, sharing JC’s Traveling Barnyard, RDF TV and out fishing everyone especially Bubba and MOST of all, he loved family. Family was always first with our sweet James. Everyone who knew him can attest to this. Never an unkind word was ever spoken from our gentle giant of a man. He will be sorely missed by us all. His love will be forever and a day in each of our hearts. Our family was blessed beyond measure. Survived: James is survived by his wife Carman, of the home in Broken Arrow. Two sons – Wesley Robison, and Jesse Robison, of Broken Arrow Two Daughters – Carly and her husband Kyle Thompson from BA, OK Allie and her husband Jordan McLeod from Tulsa, OK Three grandsons: Hunter Micheal and Kash Mathew and Ian Wesley 1 brother Don Robison of Broken Arrow 3 sisters Regina Richards, Donna Todd and Susan Beattie of Broken Arrow As well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.James was preceded in death by his father Donald G. Robison Memorial contributions can be made in James’ honor to his 3 grandson’s college fund. Memorial will be set up at Arvest Bank, BA, OK. James will be laid to rest following the services today at Hope Church in BA then graveside at Floral Haven in Tulsa. Immediately following the graveside committal, the family is invited to share a time of food and fellowship at the Floral Haven Family Center which is located on the North end of their property. . Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Hope Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
