Pat, just got to work (Dr. Morgan's office receptionist) and heard that Jim had passed. I am still in shock. I wanted to let you know that he was one of our favorite patients. Always sweet and thoughtful. He always had a smile and brightened our day. He always said that he loved us when he left. He was truly special and will be missed. I will keep you in my prayers as I know you must be missing him. Glad to know you will see him again one day in heaven. God bless you, Laura
Could not ask for a better father in law in the entire world, he was a true friend and always had time for me. From our trips to Steak n Shake, Bass Pro and to the farm to cook out, shoot, and just burning some leaves, it was all important to Bear. He and my dad were close and I thank you Bear for the years we had together! His Lord, his family and his friends, in that order. We had planned on a trip to Colorado this summer with he and Pat, and so looked forward to that. I thank you Bear for the gift of your daughter as my bride, the gift of your friendship, and especially your showing me the path to Christ our savior. We will take care of mom for you and rest assured we rejoice that you are with our Lord! Rest easy ole buddy, that first fish I catch this spring will bring many memories of you!
Always a comfort and encouragement along with his warm hugs he's so famous for. A true and honest man who loved his wife romantically, his family fiercely and friends loyally. My heart breaks for this dear family even as I know Jim will be alright until they are together again. Jim and Pat have always exhibited love for others in their selflessness and ability to reach out to those who need encouragement and appreciation. My love and prayers for comfort to the family.
Jim was like a dad to me-down to helping me change my passenger side light bulb on the car. But more than that, I could always count on a hug and a laugh every time I saw him. I can't wait to see him again in Heaven.
