When I (Christa) first met Jim over 40 years ago, I was a little unsure of how to take him because of his gruffness around the edges. Norma assured me he was harmless. As I (and my family as it grew) got to know him, his boisterous laughter became contagious, and his kindness and good heart peeked through his strong opinions and tough exterior. He was a loving, protective man and had no problem with making sure you knew that! I’m sure he introduced many as one of his “favorite people”, but I treasure that label he gave me! So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He always seemed to be a fun-loving guy.
Jim was a great man and a great friend. It was a blessing to spend time with him doing bible study and doing life. His smile was infectious and his joyful spirit brightened our lives. He will be greatly missed and Heaven is a happier place with Jim there.
