What a loving mother is what reminds me of Jan the most. I could her the love in her voice when she called me. We shared stories of our sons and she was so proud of Stephen. My prayers go out to Stephen and the family.Michelle Hayes
Jan was also my friend. When my husband died after his long illness, she devoted so much time in helping to lift my spirits. She listened when I cried, vented or just needed to be silent. Whenever I saw Jan, she would throw her head back and greet you with the most gorgeous smile. No matter how I felt, that smile filled me with such warmth and love.Since receiving the news that my friend had been called to Heaven, I have seen her everyday. She is still hugging us and letting us know she is still with us now and forever. On my walks with my little dog, I have found two of the most beautiful feathers; one is blue and the other is a silvery white. Coming out of a little store yesterday, a gorgeous hummingbird greeted me in the middle of busy B.A in the heat and noise. These are gifts from Jan and girlfriend… I know that they are. When I get over my little surgery, I will take over some of her duties. She made sure everyone was remembered at the cemetery with a clean area and fresh flowers. Jan devoted her life to others and though I will never be her, she taught me to be a better person. Jan, I love you, I miss you and I hear you in my thoughts. Rest easy my friend.Carol Watteau
I have lost one of my dearests friends, someone who "always" put others first. I am sure that is why our Lord has taken her so soon, as she has been a blessing to so many and the lessons she taught us have been great.I have shared so many moments of my life with Jan, I cannot write this without tears. My heart is weary from the thought of not having her to share more of our hopes and dreams. It is so hard to lose someone who has shared so many chapters of your life and knew all the characters. I have told Jan before how special she was to me. She was like one of my sisters, someone who would always be there for you. Now, I am sure she is an angel! My family has many precious memories with Jan, Gary and Stephen, and we will never let those memories go. I will miss our walks, talks, swims, occasional trips to the gym and laughs. (Yes, we had so much more to do.)Gary and Stephen, please know you are special part of our lives too. Jim, Shane, Brent and I will always be thankful for your friendship! Although I our lives will never be the same, we will make more memories with Jan always in our hearts.Love and prayers for Jan's family and friends.Nanette
My sincere condolences to the Moss family. Jan was a colleague of mine and it was always a pleasure to speak with her. She was great at her job, and an all-round genuinely kind woman. Her presence will be sorely missed.
My favorite memories of Jan were the times we spent Christmas decorating at LCA. When I went over to decorate I never knew who would be there, but I always knew Jan and Gary would. And we always had a great time doing it! She was one special lady. Gary and Steven, I am praying for God's comfort for y'all and all your family. Vicki Hughes
