Jan Helen Moss' Obituary
Jan Helen Moss joined the Lord peacefully in her sleep on Monday August 3rd, 2015. She was 64 years old. Jan was born on October 23rd, 1950 in Tulsa, OK to her parents, Richard and Helen Eisenbeis. She graduated from Memorial High School in Tulsa, OK in 1968. She furthered her education and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Elementary Education in 1972. She married Gary Moss on June 1st, 1979. The Moss family moved to Broken Arrow, OK and purchased their lifelong home shortly thereafter. She worked at Panalpina, Inc in Tulsa, OK as an administrative assistant since January of 1997. They have one son, Stephen Moss, who lives nearby in Broken Arrow, OK. Jan was a compassionate and dedicated wife, sister, mother, aunt, coworker and friend with a passion for helping others. She always knew how to put others before herself and was a constant giver. Her selfless sacrifices and infectious love and smile will continue to be felt by everyone who knew her. She was an active longtime member of New Creation Church in Broken Arrow, OK. Jan is survived by her husband, Gary Moss of Broken Arrow, OK; her son, Stephen Moss; her brother, Kevin Eisenbeis; and 3 nieces: Jennifer, Emma, and Gwen. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Helen Eisenbeis. There will be a memorial service at the Floral Haven Chapel in Broken Arrow, OK on Monday August 10th, 2015 at 3pm. She will be laid to rest in the Memorial Gardens section of Floral Haven next to her parents immediately following the service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jan’s life.
