I will miss and love Grandma Jan forever. She was an amazingly talented seamstress, she used to make my sister and I matching outfits when we were little, she even made my mom's beautiful wedding dress ages ago. I will miss visiting her in the summers when we were younger, sucking honeysuckles in the backyard while she made us the childhood favorite, mac and cheese with hot dogs. She never forgot anyone's birthday. I am so grateful I got to see her a couple months ago and will keep that memory with me forever.

We've known Jan since our kids went to school together at Grove Elementary, and then at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church (Hope UMC). She was a wonderful lady, and worked so hard in the church, along with husband, Rusty. We loved her and we will miss her. June and Tom Vannoy
