Met Jerry at Fort Riley in Kansas. We shared a barracks and became close buddies. We took turns driving to Tulsa on the weekends when we had leave at the same time,2-3 times a month. I will never forget the time I dropped Jerry off at his house in West Tulsa nor should his brother. Seems Jerry's brother moved Jerry's baby his softtail harley to the smaller bedroom.thought World War 3 was breaking out. Jerry really loved that bike but not as much as his children. Jerry and I lost touch when our kids got older and in to everything.was looking up Jerry's contact info when I found out about his passing. He was a great friend and great soldier .I loved serving with him and am sorry I didn't reach out sooner.we occasionally ran into each other at warehouse mkt in west Tulsa.my prayers and love go out Jerry's family.
