Jim and I had some great times together – one of the most memorable was in the summer of 1955 in the several weeks before classes started at O.U., Jim's marketing professor had hired him to help construct chicken houses in Norman. Jim brought me along for the fun. Our job was to nail up 4×8 sheets of plywood to form the roof deck. Jim was working backwards and all of a sudden – he disappeared ! He had fallen off the roof, lucky that it was low one-story! He brushed himself off and with that engaging smile that was only Jim Wagor, climbed back on to the roof as if nothing had happened. Several days later it happened again !!! But the learning curve had kicked in after that and it did not happen a third time. Fond memories! Great friend. – Bill Holloway
