Jim Afton Wagor's Obituary
James A. Wagor Jim Wagor as born October 1, 1935 to Clayton and Afton Wagor and passed away peacefully July 21, 2017. He graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1954 and attended the University of Oklahoma before serving in the United States Army. He was an avid sailor and longtime member of Windycrest Sailing Club on Lake Keystone. He enjoyed traveling and sailing the Virgin Islands with his late wife Pat, as well as the many fishing trips he took with his sons and grandsons. He actively participated in Al Anon for many years. Jim started his own business, Acoustic and Drywall Construction, in 1977 and operated it successfully for the last 40 years, never really retiring. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Afton Wagor, his wife of 27 years Patsy L. Wagor, and older brother Jack C Wagor. He is survived by his children; son, Mark Wagor and wife Carol of West Bend, WI, daughter Stacy Harwell of Shorewood, WI, son Tim Wagor and wife Vickye of Tulsa, son Shawn Wagor of Tulsa, brother Doug Wagor and wife Dottie of Sacramento, CA as well as 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Our deep gratitude goes out to Hospice of Green Country and Clarehouse who provided loving care during his final days. Services celebrating Jim’s life will be Friday, July 28th, 2017, 12:30pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Clarehouse.
