Jimmel Anne Medina's Obituary
Jimmel "Jill" Anne Medina, 72 of Bixby, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in a Tulsa hospital with her family by her side. She was born July 1, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to her parents, James Daniel Harris and Melba Elaine Patton Harris. On June 1, 1970 she took the hand of Joseph B. Medina and they were wed in Holy matrimony. Joe and Jill then spent the next 51 years building a family and making lifelong memories together.
Jill is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Medina of the home; two children, Joel "Ed" Medina and his partner, Juliann Rubijono of Boston, Massachusetts and Andrea Freeman and her husband Greg of Bixby, Oklahoma; one sister, Sidney Daniels of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Preston, Avery and Lydia Freeman of Bixby, Oklahoma and Ian Rubijono-Bond of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Melba Harris.
Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 26th, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
