My memories of Joanie began in 1968. We lived in apartments which faced each and learned that we were both pregnant.. We became friends and from that point on we did everything together.. We each had three children and her oldest and my oldest were the same age as were our middle two and the youngest two. We have been through marriages, divorces, childbirth, hospitalizations, my husbands heart attack, triple bypass and a stroke. No one could ever fill her shoes. she would give you the last dollar or food from her pantry. My children feel that they lost their other mother. I lost the very best friend I could have ever hoped to have. Our families hearts were knit together from the beginning. I will forever miss her and wish I could have lived closer these last years so we could have spent time together. Joanie you are now in the arms of our savior and no longer in pain, What a wonderful reunion with your mom, your beloved dad and your beautiful daughter Dawn.. Till we meet again my sweet beautiful sister/friend I will miss you everyday.. Love You.Joycie
