Evelyn, Dennis, and Karen, I'm very sorry that we didn't make the funeral, it's just getting so hard for Mom and Dad to travel. I wanted you all to know, how much you all have meant to me, and how much I will miss Good ol Joe! As a little girl growing up, I always saw him as 10 feet tall and bullet proof. Always in a good mood, always smiling, always joking, always teasing. I will never forget him! Love you all, always, Patty
Joe was one of my most favorite patients. He never missed an opportunity to tease me or give me a hard time. Of course I teased him back, especially the time he fell out of his tree stand. (He thought he was young or something!) I will truely miss his infectious laugh and smile. And especially him always referring to me as his Indian girl friend. God Bless and Rest In Peace.
I can still see Joe coming to pick up the Sunday School information from Evelyn in our girls class at 11th Street. He was always smiling and teasing us in his leisure suit and cowboy boots. (60's and 70's) Thanks for caring about us.Evelyn, I have such great memories of you and Joe from my childhood at 11th Street. You guys were very important to my Christian life.
