John Fitzgerald Brown's Obituary
John Fitzgerald Brown
Was born in Oakland, California, in 1965. He passed away peacefully at home, early Sunday morning August the 3rd, surrounded by his loving family.
John dedicated his life to service, spending 35 years with the Tulsa Police Department, where he proudly served in the Homicide Division for the past 13 years. He was known for his honor, integrity, and deep commitment to justice—but even more, for the love he poured into his family and the laughter he brought to every room. Goofy, kind-hearted, and endlessly devoted, John had a unique gift for making others smile, even on the hardest days.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Esther and his brother Michael.
He is survived by his wife Kathy, their three children, and five grandchildren, as well as his mother, brother, sister, and many more loving family members who will carry his memory forward. The Brown family extends their deepest gratitude to the Tulsa Police Department and Church on the Move for the outpouring of love, support, and care shown during this difficult time.
John’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the laughter he sparked, and the unwavering love he gave so freely.
