William-Joseph
I can barely remember my Uncle Johnny from when he visited our family when I was 5 years old (1994-1995) and my dad was stationed in San Diego to go to school for the Navy. We never lived in the United States after that year in San Diego and I spent the next 13 years overseas in Japan, but this didn't mean that my dad (William Ryan) never spoke of his eldest brother Johnny. Dad never failed to tell me about my Uncle Johnny's selflessness and caring nature. I could tell just in the way that my dad spoke of him that he was someone so influential in how my own father carried himself through life. I know the Ryan kids wouldn't be half the people they are today if it wasn't for their big brother and although I never had the pleasure of meeting him as an adult, I know I too was blessed to have him in my life. You will be missed, but never forgotten. Love you always.Sending my love and condolences, William-Joseph
