Your journey is over, you are in the arms of God. Now you get to be with your Dad and Mom and brothers and sister Helen. Love, your daghter Donna.
Dear Cheryl Smith, Our love, thoughts, and prayers are with you and your entire family. It was a pleasure knowing your father, John. We loved him but God loved him best. He is with Jesus now and we will see him again. Love Glenn, Lehester Thornton and Family.
Walter was the father I never had. He gave me a 22 riffle when I was a very young boy, I think around 8-10 yrs old. I still have that 22 riffle and will be passing it to my grandson. I hope that my grandson will have great memories with that riffle as I did shooting it with Walter. Walter talked to me about many things over my life time, talking about man hood and the value that life has to offer. He always had a joke for a good laugh and always told me how proud he was of me. I regretfully did not get to see him before he passed. I did talk to him a few times on the phone in the last days. I loved him and will miss him greatly. I will remember Walters stories and the values that he taught me. Always be a man and love your family and most of all, always do the right thing.Walter, I will miss you and I will never foreget you.Paul Burns
