Memory of John being Santa at the Avis Christmas parties. Such a gentle loving man.

I’m saddened to hear this news and I always loved how the Army says promoted to glory… John and I worked together at Tulsa Area Command and he was my friend. I was glad when I found him on FB a few years ago to reconnect. He helped me stay connected and grounded when my Mom passed. Part of my four musketeers with Arletta & Julie. I’m praying for you Priscila.
We have lots of memories together and to pick a favorite would be hard! He was always there for me, for our family. He had the kindest heart.
I know papa was there at the gates waiting for that big hug. We will all truly miss you!
Love your m&m

John was a great man, friend and December birthday buddy. I think he may have called me by my real name once and I loved his nicknames for me. I’m going to miss hearing them from him.
One of my favorite memories is going to dinner or lunch after church. It was me, Allen, Priscila, John, Crystal and sometimes others. Allen and John would always race (getting their credit card out) to see who could pay for dinner first.
He loved his friends and family deeply. There was no doubt about that. The quickest way to get a smile from him was to mention Priscila, Crystal or his grandchildren.
I’m going to miss him very much as I’m sure others will.
Love you John,
Talula
John was a good man, friend and December birthday buddy. I think he called me by my real name only once. I loved his nicknames for me. I will miss hearing them from him. My favorite memory is of us going to dinner. It was me, Allen, Priscila, John and Crystal. Allen and John would race (getting their credit cards out) to see who would pay for dinner. Abuelo’s was our favorite place to go.
John loved his family and friends deeply. All you had to do to get a smile from his (I think I only saw him frown once) was mention Priscila, Crystal or his grandchildren.
I will miss so much as I’m sure others will.
Love you,
