Jon Creazzo's Obituary
Jonathan “Jon” Creazzo, 40, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 16, 2025. He was born on September 10, 1985, in Owasso, Oklahoma, the son of Tonya and Jim Bender. Jon married Kendra Lynn Hotop on September 9, 2016, and together they welcomed their daughter, Brianna, into the world on July 17, 2018.
Jon was a quiet, steady presence in the lives of those who knew him. He was loyal, funny in a dry and subtle way, and the kind of person others naturally trusted. A true listener, he didn’t speak much, but when he did, people paid attention. Jon appreciated the comfort of home and the ease of a familiar routine, often happiest simply relaxing around the house and enjoying the quiet.
Jon shared nine years of marriage with his wife, Kendra, building a life rooted in companionship, support, and shared experiences. They enjoyed nights out at good restaurants, comedy shows, and the simple comfort of just being together. He was also a devoted father to their daughter, Brianna, showing his love in the quiet, steady ways that came naturally to him—taking her golfing from time to time, bringing her to her favorite places, and spending time together at spots like AirTopia. At home, Jon, Kendra, and Brianna shared their life with their beloved pets, who completed their family and brought daily joy to their home.
A man of many interests, Jon poured himself fully into whatever captured his attention. He was an avid golfer and poker player, drawn to the focus, challenge, friendships, and fun that came with both hobbies. Over the years, he tried his hand at countless pursuits—DJing, cooking, learning to bake bread, working out, and even running a small eBay side business selling golf balls and golf accessories. These hobbies came and went, but his enthusiasm for trying new things never faded.
Jon was also deeply dedicated to his work with Compass Group, where he was known for his dependability, long hours, and commitment to doing the job right. His work ethic was steady and unwavering, a reflection of his character.
Jon is survived by his wife, Kendra, his daughter, Brianna, his parents, Tonya and Jim, and numerous friends and loved ones who will remember him for his steadiness, subtle humor, and quiet but meaningful presence.
Services will be held at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, on Monday, November 24, at 10:00 a.m., with a small reception to follow.
