Jose Luis Falcon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord on January 16, 2017. He is preceded in death by an infant son and his mother Lydia Falcon. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Blanca Falcon, his father Jose Falcon, his sister Elba Frycz, his children and their spouses Kerry and Raymond Owens, Denise and Drue Tomlinson, and Kevin and Dana Falcon, and his grandchildren Justin, Trey, and Falon Tomlinson, Greyson and Brogan Owens, Aidan, Andrew, Anthony, and Alex Falcon, and Caitlyn and Annalise Moyes. Jose was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He met his wife Blanca at age 9 and the two became great friends. Over the years that friendship blossomed into a love that would last a lifetime. He and Blanca shared a life together that was centered on God and family. Jose’s job with American Airlines brought him and Blanca to Oklahoma in 1979. He worked for American Airlines for over 40 years. Retirement provided him with the opportunity to work with Oklahoma’s branch of the United States Tennis Association as the Adult District and Tulsa League Coordinator. Tennis was Jose’s favorite pastime. He enjoyed competing on multiple teams, but most importantly, tennis allowed him to develop many friendships over the years. Tennis was also a hobby that he and Blanca shared, whether it was playing mixed doubles, watching their favorite professional players, or cheering on one another. Jose and Blanca shared a true love match. Jose’s children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was the foundation of a large, extended family, and he led his family by example. He ensured they understood the beauty of God’s grace and the power of prayer. Through his actions he taught the importance of a strong work ethic and commitment. He is an example to his son and grandsons of how a gentleman should conduct himself and to his daughters and granddaughters he is the standard by which they will judge the men in their lives. Heaven has received a true angel. We love you, Papa.
