Shannon's memorial service was one I will always remember. It was so special and personalized. You could tell the family really put their heart and soul into it. Dr. Hagin's story about the dash really struck a note with me and the video and letter from Mignon showed how much he was loved. I have a long history with Joey and Mignon. I graduated from Rogers with Joey, my kids went to Metro with Shannon and Elise and my daughter went to their Senior Prom with Shannon. I also discovered yesterday that Shannon was born on the day my husband and I were married 48 years ago. Having lost my husband nine months ago, I know there is nothing I can say that will ease their pain. I hope they know how much they are loved by so many people just like Shannon was. My thoughts and prayers are for Mignonette and Joey, and I wish Joseph could have seen his Dad perform as an athlete like I did when I was young, and what a strong leader and business minded mother he had when I was fortunate enough to meet her. I will always miss working with you. You had the best sense of humor and made ever work day enjoyable. The best times were making hats and other goofy accessories out of scrap material. I will keep kelli and mckenna in my prays.

Joey, Mignon and Elise, When I think of my childhood days, I can't help but to recall Regency Park and each and every one of you! Many things come to mind, the ducks you had, Ivan the neighborhood grump, Saturday Night Live, the plant store, Mignon chasing Shannon around the cul-de-sac to get him in the car for bible school…the list goes on and on! So many memories that make me laugh and smile! I know that Shannon will be so greatly missed! May Gods peace and comfort be with you now and the days to come! Joey and Mignon I have fond memories of Shannon when he was a little boy across the street from me, riding his bicycle and jumping on the Frisch trampoline. I did not know him when he became a man but according to his accolades, he was a very good man is at peace with God at the present time. I did often see him at the Elks Lodge So sorry for your loss. God's love will see you through this , trust in Him. Love you lots. Unfortunately I have a Dr. appointment at 10:30 Tuesday and will miss his service but am present in my heart. Always, Mollie

Joey I was so saddened to read of your son's death. I haven't seen you in years and never met your son or even your wife. He was obviously still a fairly young man and too young to die.
