RIP Josette… see you someday in Heaven.
My mom was the coolest mom ever. Just ask any of our school time friends. She made our friends welcomed, as if they were her own. I remember her always keeping us entertained when we got bored. She always went above and beyond for her kids, family, friends and strangers. She would do random acts of kindness upon others, and tell us, "God wants me to do this." Like paying for a families meal upon leaving a restaurant and wanting no recognition. I remember as a teen, my mom dragging us to nursing homes to sing and spend time with them. And the elderly people she cared for when we were younger, she would take us with her sometimes, and that introduced us to the big heart she had, which passed onto to our upbringing. She was such a giver, and never asked for much in return. She just wanted to be loved back, and indeed there are so many that loved her so much. I looking back, I am so blessed for those moments and so many more, that my family and I can share as we gather together in her memory. I love that I already see the great parts of her in every one of my siblings. That is what keeps me going, and I hope that I can just make a portion of impact if my girls life, as my mom has done for me.
I remember her bringing the kids to the school and her laugh and smile would light up a room like heaven. Her spirit and life here on earth will be missed by many! Although she has many that will share her smile to live on.
