My Beautiful Mother, Blake Shelton & Me on my 40th Birthday!!
Joyce and I met years ago through as Mary Kay Consultants. Although we didn't see each other often, every encounter began and ended with hugs. Joyce would always tell me, "I love you bunches". My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Joyce, you were our "mother hen" when the K95FM Crewsers needed one about 25 years ago. You were always so compassionate, organized, kind, and classy. I'm so glad we were a part of that amazing group. You truly took charge to make sure things ran as smoothly as possible. Always a great hostess. You made us shine! I remember when you helped Kevin pull off a huge surprise for one of my big birthdays. You rock…always! Love you! Julie Meyer

Girls, so sorry of your loss. I have many memories of Joyce. She and I became friend while living in Tahlequah, then while living in Broken Arrow we stayed in touch. I moved for a few years and lost touch with her. I am now back in Broken Arrow and every time I drove by your house there, I would think of all of you. I recently told my daughter, Jerri Lynn I need to try to find her. Now I feel so sorry that I did not reconnect with her. We had so many good times together through the years. I know she will be greatly missed by many. Marilynn Hammons
I was 13 yrs old when I met Joyce. I was babysitting next door I was in the front yard with the kids when she came over and asked if I would like to babysit for her she said she had two little girls. I told her sure. Then one day she called me and that was the beginning of a long relationship with Joyce and her two beautiful little girls they all become part of my family. As I grew older Joyce was like a big sister always there if I needed her. She was beautiful in so many ways. I will miss her very much. She will always be in my heart.
I'm so sorry Tammi to hear about the loss of your wonderful mother. It has been a long time since I have seen your mother but I remember her well. Good memories always stay in your heart to be remembered. I pray that God watches over you and your family. Jerri Lynn Hammons
I am reading and nodding at all of these endearing thoughts and expressions of how Joyce touched each life so deeply. Hugs to you my friend.
I went to high school with Joyce and she quickly became a good friend. After looking at pictures and reading the memories about her, I think she excelled in every aspect of her life. I hope you will find comfort and peace in knowing that your Mom was a good friend to so many people and brought a brilliant light into our world that you and your children can carry forward. My prayers are with you. Shannon Simmons Freeman Class of 1971 Wagoner High School
