Joyce Allene Benge passed from this life, February 3, 2015, in Denver, ColoradoJoyce Allene Benge was born January 1, 1953, to Roy Allen and Alice Catherine (Ellison) Suther, in Fort Hood, Texas. Joyce was the eldest of two children. She attended Wagoner High School, graduated at the top oi her class, as valedictorian in 1971.After graduation, Joyce began a career in banking which turned into an office manager. She was a bartender for 38 years..Joyce was employed as an office manager for Mead & Hunt, formerly known as Barnard Dunkelberg & Co.Joyce never met a stranger. Everyone was a special friend in her eyes.Her daughters described her in six words, beautiful, strong, fun loving, outgoing and amazing.Children, grandchildren, family and friends were most important in her life and world. Joyce loved dancing, traveling and living life to the fullest.Her favorite music was country, with George Strait singing “I Cross My Heart”.Joyce is survived by daughters, Tammi Sawyer and husband, James, and, Shannon Jones and husband, Charles; granddaughters, Madison Jones,Carlee Jones, and Jacee Sawyer; sister, Barbara Pate; half brother, Marion Wright and wife, DonnaShe is preceded by parents; half-brother, Guy Wright.In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a bank account in her honor at: Communications Federal Credit Union, Account 5673681, Routing Number 303085476.
