My heart goes ot to all yout family. Joyce was always a lovely, thoughtful lady. I first knew her the short time she went to Ruston High. We were in the same home room. Several years later I became a part of the Woodard family and got to know her better. Also there she was such a nice person to be around. Always had a smile and pleasant word for all.
I spent several years working with Joyce during my twenties at FNB. She was also around a good bit during my childhood at my grandparents home north of Arcadia. Always pleasant and loving, I enjoyed these times with her immensely! I'm saddened to hear of her passing. She was gentle and compassionate – her presence in my life was indeed a blessing. -Libby Woodard
Pam and Elaine,I have so many fond memories of your mom at Grandmother and Granddaddys house.We loved her to wait on us when she worked at 1st National Bank.She always had the sweetest smile.The last time I saw her,she and friend were eating at Strawns when Dale and I walked in.She was as usual smiling and so happy to see us and catch up on the family news.You had a wonderful Mother.Keep those memories close.
