So my daddy and mama (Lendon and Jen Wood) had a close bond with Buckshot and Juanita. So close, it seems, that when Buckshot and Juanita came to California for a vacation around the whole state, when they stopped to visit, mom and daddy decided to join them on their journey. I was working for my brothers at the time and when they got to my brother Jimmys house to visit, I was invited over to have dinner with them all. I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun that was. I have NEVER before or after seen an entire family of people laugh so much in my life. They joked and remembered so many funny stories from their trip…I had never seem my parents so happy as they were that night in, well, my entire life. Juanita truly was a gift from God, and I can almost hear them all laughing and remembering that amazing trip right now in paradise…finally reunited together with the Lord, who, I am sure, is laughing right along with them…just like I did.
