Veronique "Roni" Baxter Barnes
Dear Bill, Amy, Deborah and Anna,
I can hardly bear to write this my heart is so sad over the loss of your loving wife and mother. She was my best friend growing up – Nell and Hensel were like my second parents. We spent innumerable nights at each other’s houses, went on shopping trips to Liberal and Garden City with our moms, went on vacations together, went all the way through school together and were roommates our first year in college, were in each other’s weddings… In many ways, she was more a part of my life than my own sisters and every bit as dear to me as a sister. Our lives parted as adults, but I can see she continued to touch the lives of many wonderful people and was loved by everyone. May God comfort you with knowing she is at peace after a lifetime of blessing others and will live on in all our hearts who loved her and knew her.
Karen’s friend and sister,
Roni
