Karen Immell's Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Karen Lucille Immell of Tulsa, Ok. She passed away on Friday, December 21st, 2018 in her home.Karen was born in Laurel, MS on July 4th, 1957. She graduated from Satana High School in Satana, KS. She received her Associates Degree at Seward County Community College in Liberal, KS. It was while attending college in Liberal that she met the love of her life, Bill Immell. They married on June 10th, 1978. They move to Lawrence, KS shortly after they wed and eventually to Mission, KS where they raised their 3 daughters. The family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in the summer of 1997 where she has called home ever since.Karen loved all the little moments of life and cherished every second she spent with her family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her daughters and going on adventures with her husband and car club friends. She loved to tell silly jokes and make people laugh. There were no boundaries to her dedication to making others smile and spreading joy. She never met a stranger and loved everyone she met.She was preceded in death by her father Clarence Henry Hensel, her mother Martha Nellwyn Woodard Hensel, her father-in-law Everette Eugene Immell, and her mother-in-law Patsy Joann Immell.Survivors and loved ones include her husband William Franklin Immell, daughters: Amy Colleen Immell, Deborah Suzanne Reavis, and Anna Elizabeth Immell; her brother Randy Hensel, sister-in-law Janet Hensel, brother-in-law Robert Immell and son-in-law Benjamin Reavis. Her niece and nephew include Emily Winburn and Kyle Hensel.She is deeply loved and is greatly missed.Her memorial service will be held in the Rose Chapel at Floral Haven at 11:00, Thursday January 3rd, 2019 in Broken Arrow, Ok for her family and friends.
