So sorry to just learn of Katie's death. We were very fond of Katie and Lucky. Katie gave me one of her dolls that I will always cherish. Being at their 60th anniversary was also special. One of my favorite stories was while I was standing beside Katie in choir, dressed very lovely in a blue dress, she said "Oh look, Jean, I still have on my house shoes." I told her, if she hadn't mentioned it, I would not have noticed. She was a very special lady. Our time at Brookside, while Bob was directing music, has left us with many fond memories of some very special people such as Katie and Lucky. Thank you for sharing them with us.
