I love how my dad would always play with the kids. I found some pictures of a toy shaving kit he got Austin one year. We had so much fun with that.
Dad said he wanted to play different instruments then compile it together to make a cd of his "one man band ". He said the cover art would have him in every position with different hats for each instrument. He never got around to doing that so my sister made one for him. He also used to tell me he has to grow his beard out and join ZZ top. He said he was going to be the third member ez-zz.
My dad was the most patient kind man. The way he played with his grandkids is the same way I remember him playing with my baby brother. He didn't become a great person. He has just always been a loving and devoted person to his core. My heart hurts so much looking back at all these photos, but at the same time I'm so thankful that we were able to have you around this long. I will "Lava you" always daddy.
He was an amazing man. He was always there when you needed someone to talk to or if you needed help. He was there for me when my own dad didnt show up and I will always be thankful to him that.
