Keith Allen Nye's Obituary
Keith Allen Nye
April 12, 1960 - March 5, 2026
Keith Allen Nye was the kind of person everyone would have been lucky to call a friend. I wish I could introduce you to him in person, but sadly he passed away late Thursday night on March 5, 2026. Keith was an incredible man who lived his life by the golden rule: treat others as you want to be treated. He was an old-fashioned auto mechanic by trade. The kind who could listen to an engine for a few seconds, tell you exactly what was wrong, send you to the parts store, and by the time you came back with the part and a Pepsi, he’d have it fixed and running again. He was the person people turned to when something broke—whether it was a car or just a bad day. He enjoyed playing music and being surrounded by family and friends. He loved hunting and fishing. In his younger years he spent every season in the mountains of Tamarack, California, often staying until his tags were filled and the freezer back home was stocked. Those trips were some of the things he loved most. More than anything, he was a devoted husband and father. Keith and LaDonna have been together for 43 years. People describe them as inseparable. Keith was born on April 12, 1960, and during his life he built a family that loved him deeply. He leaves behind his wife, four children, ten grandchildren, and three surviving siblings, along with many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. His humor will live on through his future generations. He had a strong moral compass that he instilled in his children. May we make our children as proud as we are of him. We will carry on his legacy. Though he has left his body, he will remain in our hearts, where he has lived all along!
