I loved this man dearly, he was a wonderful Grandfather/Daddy-figure to his loving granddaughter Lindsey and forever loving & present great grandfather to his precious 2 great-grandsons Ryder Ashton and Jaxon Cooper. Kenneth,"Favorite brother-in-law" Just remembered how you always would tease Patsy to try to get her to say you where her favorite brother-in-law. And she would always say you and Tony where her favorite. You couldn't get her to budge .There are so many good memories we shared and you will be missed . My family fondly knew Ken as "the tooth man!" We were at one of the New Life Craft shows at our church years ago when my youngest daughter (who is 23 now) became aware that she had a tooth just hanging, but she was so scared and wouldn't let anyone pull it. Well, Ken said "come over here, young lady, and watch this." He found a clean napkin in the kitchen and she let him pull her tooth, and it didn't hurt! After that, she was looking for him when she needed a tooth pulled! Forever, he was idolized in her mind and known as "the tooth man." Both Ken and Kathy were precious people who loved the Lord. I know they are rejoicing to be in His presence today.
Kenneth, I will never forget you. You made the most memorable first impression that anyone ever has in my whole life. I will forever be grateful to you and the impact that you had on your family, especially Daniel Reid. Man, does that boy love his grandpa. ?? Please watch over him!! He needs you by his side and your constant guidance. I am beyond thankful that I had the pleasure of meeting you and having you in my life. The way you looked at Daniel that day… Was enough to change anyone's perspective on the way they looked at life. I cant thank you enough for your wise words of wisdom that day… I will remember them forever. I will remember the stories you told, I will remember all the awesome things that Daniel always said about you. Rest In Peace "Papa". You will forever be missed and you will forever be in our hearts!! You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten!! You will finally get to be with that beautiful wife of yours that you talked so much about. We all know how much you missed her, now you get to walk hand in hand, this time with Jesus. I loved working with Ken and Kathy on the New Life Craft Festival. Barry worked with Jen on the finance committee at church. Ken would always come say hi and ask how we were doing. So sorry for the loss of a great guy. Barry and Rita Janssen
Uncle Kenneth, your smile and laugh will greatly be missed! So sorry for all that are mourning your passing, but celebrating your victory in passing to eternal life! I'll never forget you putting on Nanny's apron and helping do dishes at all the holiday dinners! I just found out recently that you were the one who picked out my name, so thank you for that. Uncle Kenneth, I will never forget your visits as a child, always coaxing me to let you count my ribs. It always ended the same way, a huge tickle session. Thank you for teaching me to play backgammon and always having a smile on your face. Godspeed, Uncle Kenneth, Godspeed.
One of the Godliest and wisest men I have ever known, always looking to the Lord for answers to life's problems and situations, and was always willing to help, put a smile on your face or wisdom and comfort in your mind. I remember in little league baseball, on game day, you and my dad would take back roads to see who could get to the opposing teams ball field the quickest, you in your VW station wagon and my dad in his Ford station wagon. I could list endless memories that were shared over the years, but would be writing for days on end. I remember playing golf with you at Bella Vista(when it was only about 4 cabins and a golf course), you were in your backswing when the road crew released a dynamite explosion on the new highway they were building !!!!! and you hit it right down the middle. Praise the Lord for you being a part of my life.Bill Hughes

DANIEL (Your Grandson) Papa. I will never forget you. I will always remember the times we shared together. You and mimaw picking me up as a little boy to take me to church to attend Awanas. I can't say how greatful I am for you two to do that every Wednesday. You helped me grow up knowing God. Also I will always remember you taking me to play golf. I will never forget you always being there at my baseball games rooting me on no matter the weather conditions or if we had to travel for tournaments. You were a great grandfather!!!! I greatly appreciate everything you had ever done for me. You were such a great man, you had so much love and care in your heart. I am honored that you were my grandfather. And in my eyes you still are. I know you are by my side now watching over me. You and mimaw will always be in my heart. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH PAPA!!!!
