Kenneth Ray White's Obituary
Kenneth Ray White, age 81, passed away on January 27, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ken was born on September 21, 1934 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to his parents Jess White and Minnie Turner. He was the 3rd of 3 children. Ken received his general education from Torrance High School. After graduation, he served with the Navy from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War. After his military service, he worked with Texaco from 1955 to 1964, then as a Lineman from 1964 to 1971, as a painter from 1971 to 1995, and as a locksmith from 1995 to 1999. Ken married Edna Winnett on May 14, 1954 in Los Angeles. Ken was a kind, caring, husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family dearly. He is survived by his wife Edna White, his daughter Pam (Ross) Harp, his son Greg (Brenda) White, his granddaughter Kendra Wiggins, his grandson Owen Wiggins, his grandson Camron Harp, his grandson Christopher White, his granddaughter Kacey White, and his great grandchildren Max Wiggins and Levi White. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 12 pm to 8 pm with family to greet from 2 pm to 4 pm. Services will be held at Oologah Assembly of God on February 1, 2016 at 1:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the building fund of Oologah Assembly of God.
