My sincerest sympathy to Corky's family. I met Cork at Top Hat Dairy Bar where I work. I loved visiting with Corky every Sunday when he came in. He told me he loved people and like to be around people. He said I am a people person, just like to visit and not be alone. He told me old time stories. Everyone should have an elder person for a friend as they teach you so much.I fixed him the same breakfast every time he came in on Sunday. Hashbrowns with lots of grilled onions and side of sliced tomatoes all covered with gravy. He always saved his change through the week and brought it to me so I would have plenty. I would count up the change & take out his breakfast $2.67. Everytime I gave him his money back he would say "this is the only place I can eat and they pay me." I always asked him about Dorothy, "Sweet Thing" his name for her. Made me smile. They like to go on trips.I had also met his grandaughter Laura as she work at Top Hat while in high school. Sweet Girl she is and a pleasure to work with.Corkey was just a pleasure to be around. I even went dancing with him at the Elks Lodge. I miss him so. My heart goes out to the Colley Family and will keep you in my prayers. Sorry to carry on so much. Goodbye dear Corkey you will be greatly missed.
