Leonard was my friend from all the way back to Jr High School at Wilson when we first met. I always enjoyed seeing him at the reunions and the look on his face was that he seemed to be as thrilled to see me as I was to see him. I always remember being a part of a small group that waited at the hospital to see if he was going to survive. I was always happy that he did and never complained about the after affects of his injuries. I shall never forget him and will miss seeing him at reunions. Carl Snow.
