I first met Linda when we both attended Holy Family school in the ninth grade in 1955, we became the best of friends, I can remember singing in the glee club together, We remained good friends through the years and even though we didn't see each other very much we always sent each other Christmas cards every year until a few years ago but manage to have lunch together. I remember when she told me she was sick, thinking how good she sounded and we made plans to have lunch again when she was filling better after her treatments. She said "whatever God has planned for me, I'm ready". I waited for her call and when it didn't come, I knew something was wrong, but my husband had recently had a really tough surgery so I put off calling her. Needless to say, I was stunned when I read your post on Face book. I loved her very much and will always regret I didn't make that call myself. God bless all her family, I will be praying for you.
