in honor of Linda.

I worked with Linda at St Francis Hospital on the floor were women went after having a baby. I was only 18 when I started working there and Linda followed me through the years. My mom worked there in the new born nursery and kept Linda updated on me. I could always count on Linda sending the first Christmas card around December first. Linda was so nice to my son and would send him pictures, puzzles, and other gifts.

Linda was a kind, compassionate lady that thought of others. We did not know of her passing until today when I wished her a Happy Thanksgiving and her line had been discontinued. We will always think highly of Linda and miss our sweet friend. Rest in peace Linda and have a beautiful Thanksgiving in Heaven.

I have thought of Linda over the past 44 years, since she took care of me when I had my first daughter back in January 1981. She was as sweet as they came. Being a new Mom at 21, she helped me those first couple of days after Courtney was born. Loved her then. Then, 2 years & 8 months later, she was working when I came in on the last day of August, 1983 to have my 2nd daughter, Brittney. My Grandma worked in the psych ward- before Laureate was a thing- and she heard me speak highly of Ms Linda, so when Linda ‘made the St Francis paper’ of some kind, could’ve just been something for all of her years service, my Grandma brought that paper to me. I still have it somewhere packed in box of ‘things I wanted to remember. God rest her sweet soul. She was an angel on earth & she was my personal angel but for just a few days. I’ve never forgotten that.
