Linda Sue Douglas' Obituary
Linda Sue Douglas, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed from this life on June 7, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on January 17, 1944, in Tulsa to Ralph Otis and Dortha Louise (Hood) Douglas.
Linda grew up in Tulsa, where she graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1962. She attended Northeastern Oklahoma College in Miami, Oklahoma. She dedicated her life to caring for others, working for many years as a Nurse’s Aide at St. Francis Hospital. Her kindness, patience, and unwavering compassion touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Judy Mitchell, and Judy’s husband, Jim, as well as many cherished family members. Linda’s warmth and generosity will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
A funeral service in honor of Linda’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Veterans Field of Honor Phase II.
Linda’s family and friends find comfort in knowing that she lived a life of kindness and service. They will gather to celebrate and remember her, sharing stories of love, laughter, and the profound impact she had on so many.
