Jane Allen
This past school year found our family being around Gpa Taylor, as we called him, more than we had been in previous years. He would accompany his daughter, and our friend, Jacque, to attend the basketball games of his great grandson, Tanner Martin, who was a senior at Purcell High School. At times it wasn't clear to him who he was there to watch, but that didn't matter because he was always a FAN!!!! He was even there to support Tanner and his Dragon team as they made in to the 2nd game in the Area tournament in Shawnee. That smile on his face said it all!!!! And the best memory of the year was when he attended Tanner's high school graduation, where he not only cheered and clapped for Tanner, but did the same for ALL the graduates! He obliged all of us with picture taking at the graduation reception and has left us with not just the memories, but also the lasting photos of times he (and us) shared with his great grandchildren, Tanner, Tess, and Taylor Martin.
