Marcus Alexander Vasquez, lovingly known as "Guyz," was born on June 9, 1997. He passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 28.
Marcus lived a life filled with passion, laughter, music, and a deep love for his family and the people around him.
Marcus was funny, sweet, caring, loving, and undeniably handsome.
He had a personality that could light up any room, and a laugh that people will carry with them forever. To know Marcus was to feel loved by him. He was a great listener and very empathetic.
Marcus loved music, not just for the sound, but for the meaning hidden within every lyric. He taught his mother how to truly listen to songs, to hear the emotion, the pain, the beauty, and the story behind every word. He spent countless hours playing guitar, writing songs, and singing the thoughts and feelings he carried within him. His spirit lived inside every melody he created.
Above all else, Marcus was deeply spiritual, loved God and showed his love openly through affection, kindness, music and presence. His family and friends will forever remember the warmth of his hugs, the sound of his laugh, and the love he gave so freely.
Marcus is survived by his loving parents, Eva Zarco and Pablo Zarco, his siblings Anthony and Isabella, his grandparents on both sides, and countless family members.
We lost a beautiful soul, but heaven gained a voice that will never stop singing.
