I have known Sue since registration day for Freshman year of high school. She was from the little school of Belair and I was from Bend. We hit it off right away and were friends from then on, along with Jean Graham. She and Rick set up Ted and I on a blind date to the drive in. We all went to senior prom together. Sue and I walked all over New York City on the free time on Senior Trip. Two small town girls in the BIG city. We had a great time and found some really good pizza. It's a wonder we survived to tell the tale! We tried to keep in touch after school, but lost each other for a while after she and Rick moved to Oklahoma. I'm glad we found each other again. I'll miss the 2 hour phone calls.

My favorite memory is when my husband and I took Aunt Sue and my Mom to a Hank Williams Jr concert. This was back in the day when you could still smoke inside at concerts, needless to say there was other smoking being done besides cigarettes and my husband Rusty kept telling them not to breathe so deep 😂😂.
Another memory I have was I had just found out a guy I was dating cheated on me, so I got in my car and drove to Mattoon and stayed with my Aunt Sue and Uncle Rick for the weekend and she told me “ well your better off without that loser”
