I taught third grade with Marinee at Jenks. We carpooled to and from school every day for seven years and lived in the same subdivision in Broken Arrow. I consider her the best friend I had at Jenks. We would take Ryan and my daughter, Hunter, to the same babysitter for four of those years and had to head out very early to do so before driving to Jenks. I have such great memories of Marinee. She was always helping someone and was a very good friend to me .❤️Nancy Heap
Marinee was a true disciple. Her greatest joy was helping children. She was a great mentor and friend. She helped set the foundation for the students and staff at Bluebonnet Elementary. She loved sharing about her travels and her family. She will be greatly missed!
Bill, I am so very sorry for your loss of Marinee. She was truly a joy to be around. For me, she taught me some lessons on thinking outside the box, which were a blessing in my life. I hope it is comforting to know that she contributed so much to those around her that will surely last. God bless you and your family.
When I took over the newsletter she was one of the proofreaders. I sized a photo incorrectly, and she said, "Always adjust from the corners." Even now when I am working on photos, I hear her advice and follow it. She will be missed.
It was a privilege to be your friend for many, many years. May you rest in peace sweet lady. We all will miss you immensely.
