Mary Lou Bridegan's Obituary
Bridegan , Mary Lou peacefully left this Earth early the morning of July 7, 2010. She was born July 21, 1958 in Chicago, IL to Bert and Irma Schwab, now both deceased. In 1971 the family moved to Rockford, IL. where she met and married Rick Bridegan in March of 1978. Called by opportunity to Tulsa they moved in 1989 where Rick and Mary became parents to Tyler and Mason. Mary became an active volunteer for many of her childrens' schools and organizations including, Spring Creek Elementary, Childers Middle School and Broken Arrow Senior High School where her boys have gone to school and also Indian Springs Country Club. She enjoyed jogging, playing tennis at the club and following a healthy lifestyle. More recently, in the past 4 years, Mary delighted others with her unique style in dichroic, fused glass jewelry, an activity that not only gave her great joy and fulfillment but also a strong network of friends. Mrs. Bridegan is survived by her husband, Rick, and her sons, Tyler and Mason. Additionally, she is survived by siblings, Thelma Collicott, Jane Coons, Jos Schwab, Steve Schwab, and Debbie Trojnair. Her lovely style, her beautiful smile and happy attitude could lift a person from any doldrums, is what will be most missed. Donations may be sent to Clarehouse in Tulsa. A Celebration of her life will be held Friday, July 9, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Asbury United Methodist Church in the Mason Chapel. Floral Haven 252-2518
