Lit a candle in memory of Mary Lue Cartwright
Mary was a wonderful friend, mentor and believer in me. She was a wise woman with care and concern in her heart for everyone she met. Her inner spirit was love and she shared this freely with family and friends. As I look at her picture, it reminds me of the good time we shared with her and Roy ~ a dynamic couple who cared for our community of Tahlequah and made it so much better!Rest in peace, Mary. You have earned your place in your Heavenly home. God bless Roy and all your family in this time of heartfelt loss by many.Linda Spyres
To the family of Mrs.Cartwright. I did not know her but as I was glancing the obituaries could not help to write some encouraging words. The bible promises that we will see our dear love ones. John 5:28,29 states "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" What a glorious day that will be. With deep respect, sp

I can rember sitting in the kitchen with grandma Potter, Roy,Mary and mom in Texas and learning how to cook whole lobster the night before going out to my first duck hunt. She was a wonderful aunt and person. She is in heaven with all her family friends around her. Prayers and love to the Cartwrights and her sisters.James Manhart and family
Mary was a very dear friend of ours and will definitely be missed. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and we are comforted knowing that we will see her again one day. We shared many things together, a love for OU sports, our church family, Thunder Basketball, and our Red hat ladies group. Mary had a wonderful life and was loved by so many people including us. We don't know why people we love are taken from us by what seems much too soon but we trust God and will someday be able to ask the reason and he will tell us why. We send our love and prayers to Roy and the family. Rest in peace my precious friend. Jean & Harold Treat.
