In Loving Memory of Mary Ann Proctor
Mary Ann Proctor, 79, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, went to her heavenly home on January 11, 2024. She was born to Richard and Golda Wallace on April 17, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mary Ann attended Will Rogers High School and later pursued higher education at Tulsa University with an emphasis in journalism.
Mary Ann was a woman of many admirable qualities. She possessed an imaginative mind and an attention to detail that have long inspired her loved ones, most notably in her thoughtful poetry. Known for her keen observations and expressive nature, she brought a playful energy to every interaction. Mary Ann's opinions were well-formed, and she was never afraid to share them, making conversations with her both engaging and enlightening.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Stephen Proctor, as well as her parents, Richard and Golda Wallace, and her brothers, Kenneth Wallace and Dale Wallace. She is survived by her three sons and their spouses: Scott and Jill Proctor, Shawn and Donna Proctor, and Stace Proctor. She also leaves behind her brothers, Jack Wallace and Bill Wallace, along with his wife Rilene. Mary Ann cherished and was cherished by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Doug and Paula Proctor, Gene and Judy Russell, Jim and Cheryl Chenoweth, and Phil and Mary Sewell. Her great affection will be missed by Mary Ann's six grandchildren: Reagan Proctor, Hannah Proctor, Baylor Proctor, Bishop Proctor, Barron Proctor, and Boston Proctor.
Mary Ann's family expresses their deepest gratitude to the staff of Home Instead, Oxford Glen Memory Care at Owasso, and Good Shepherd Hospice.
Mary Ann Proctor will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her inquisitive nature, wit, and colorful personality will continue to resonate with those whose lives she touched. As one who dearly loved to sing, may she sing now in full voice her praises to God, her Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ, her Savior.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, at Floral Haven Funeral Home: 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
Anyone wishing to send flowers may do so by ordering through our website or by calling Floral Designs by Floral Haven at (918) 459-1525. Any other florists may deliver flowers directly to Floral Haven Funeral Home by 3:00 PM on Monday, January 15, 2024, in order for them to be set out and properly displayed for Mary's visitation.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mary will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, located at 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012, with Pastor James Lacey officiating. Interment will follow immediately after conclusion of the chapel service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Prayer.
