Miss you ❤️
Thinking of you everyday, especially today on your birthday. I love and miss you. I miss our little talks and wish you were here. Tell Uncle Bud I said "Hi" and Happy Birthday as well. I can't wait to see you, Eddie and Emmett again.
I feel "lost", but doing ok. I'm thankful you are no longer in pain. I will visit in August. Happy Birthday Mom. ❤️
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of Mary’s service. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy. Proverbs 3:6, “IN all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” My prayers are with you. Jay McCurry, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Grandma,
Did I ever say thank you? Thank you for the many times you picked me up at college and treated me to dinner. You knew I needed encouragement. Thank you for rushing to the emergency room the night of my car accident and never leaving my side. I suffered a head injury and went to sleep, but you stayed awake and checked on me every two hours to make sure I could be easily awakened. Thank you for calling me on a whim and inviting me to your house for homemade biscuits and gravy. You knew I needed good food and good conversation. Thank you for letting me lay on your bed. You knew I needed the comfort of home. Thank you for teaching me how to play “bejeweled.” You knew I needed to laugh. Thank you for sharing our family heritage. You knew I needed this sentimental gift. Thank you for sitting with me at church. You knew Sundays were important and that God is worthy. Thank you for letting me drive your car when I was 14, monitoring from the passenger seat. You knew I needed to develop this foundational skill and learn responsibility. Thank you for keeping a pristine home. You knew the importance of this ability as a wife and a mother. Thank you for leading by example. You made it look so easy. You handled life’s troubles with a peaceful approach and a sense of humor, which is honestly one of the greatest gifts you could have given me. You knew a lot, Grandma. Thank you for being there for me. I miss you. I think of you often. I love you.
Your granddaughter, Jordan Arias
I will always remember Grandma’s tender voice and her smile when she greeted us. She knew how to make us feel welcome and always opened her home to us for visits when we lived in Tulsa. I will forever hold some very special memories in my heart of times I’ve spent with Grandma. I’m so happy to have had her as my Grandma and will always remember the moments and conversations I had with her. I love you Grandma ❤️! Your kindness and care for us and others will always be remembered.
