I just found out Thursday morning. Too late to go to the service. Matt was a wonderful Friend. I thought of him like a son. I truly loved him. We were supposed to go to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, but I got busy and forgot. I was gonna make it up and take him to a different show. I wish I wouldn't have gotten side tracked. I would have loved to see him, one last time. Matt was a great person and a true friend. I'm gonna miss him.

How do you find the words to say goodbye when you are not ready to say goodbye at all?
We were part of each other’s lives for more than half the time we have been alive. For my 16th, 17th, and 18th birthdays, you made me huge posters filled with our pictures from that year, our inside jokes, and all the celebrity crushes we had.
Sometimes I still catch myself thinking, I need to text you, and then I have to remember all over again that you are not here for me to reach out to anymore.
You were part of my ride or die crew, and I honestly do not know how we are supposed to move forward without you here with us.
Until I can see you again, you will live on in my soul, my memories, and my dreams.

my Joanne Crawford, your smile was so infectious, every memory over the last almost 20 years is a staple of who we became from kids fresh out of high school learning that life is not a party and we have responsibilities. We had a lot of trials and tribulations in different paths because we all have our own journeys in life. But our journeys stayed intertwined no matter a disagreement or misunderstanding through verbiage. We as best, true friends always found our way to grow and build from that. You were and will always be the most independent, voracious, infectious person that whatever is in existence graced me with your presence. I’ll never get back those random calls, late night conversations, calling each other out as friend/siblings, and holding each other accountable. I’ll forever be your Christina lmao. I love you, my forever brother and friend. I remember before Netflix was even streaming, we would start the same rental CDs at the same time and watch movies together while in different states. Not even states apart could deter our friendship.
Losing you feels unreal, and I still catch myself wanting to call or text you just to hear your voice one more time. Thank you for being the kind of friend that loved deeply, laughed loudly, and never let me forget who I was. You helped shape so much of my life, and a piece of my heart went with you.
